The painting entitled, “A Many Splendored Wonder,” is a visual meditation on
the sacred rhythm and natural cycle of time, mapping a full calendar year
through the interplay of liturgical seasons and the turning of the earth. Each
liturgical season is woven into its ecological counterpart, inviting the viewer to
see spiritual time not as separate from creation, but deeply rooted within it.
Vibrant colors and layered imagery draw attention to the patron guides—
figures, elements, and companions—who accompany us as time circles
forward, reminding us that formation is not linear but cyclical, relational, and
full of wonder.

This artpiece was used during Spring season 2 of Beloved Community
Charlotte’s School for the Common Good Year 1 in celebration of Easter and
the completion of this project.
